Delhi Public School, Ghana represents an international extension of India’s renowned educational institution, designed by R. K & Associates as a state-of-the-art residential school campus in Tema, Ghana. The project translates the ethos of quality education into a built environment that fosters learning, growth, and community within a global context. Occupying 7 acres, the campus integrates academic blocks, student residences, administrative areas, and recreational facilities within a cohesive spatial framework. The master plan prioritizes circulation clarity, safety, and natural light, ensuring a nurturing and efficient learning atmosphere.
The architectural vocabulary combines simple, bold geometries with climatic responsiveness, incorporating shaded corridors, large fenestrations, and courtyards suited to the local environment. The façade employs a modern palette of neutrals and earthy tones, reinforcing the school’s institutional character while harmonizing with its tropical setting. Thoughtful landscaping interweaves built and open spaces, encouraging interaction and engagement beyond classrooms.
