The College of Engineering & Technology, Jammu is a comprehensive academic campus conceptualized to set a benchmark for higher technical education through integrated planning and contextually sensitive architecture. Designed by R. K & Associates, the proposal emerged as a Second Prize-winning entry in a prestigious national design competition, recognized for its functional clarity, spatial balance, and responsiveness to terrain and climate.
Spread across 150 acres, the master plan was envisioned as a self-sustained academic ecosystem, comprising academic blocks, laboratories, administrative zones, hostels, faculty housing, and recreational areas. The design emphasizes zoning hierarchy, with academic and residential clusters connected through landscaped pedestrian corridors and open plazas that encourage interaction and community life.
